| Abstract: | Austerity and Non-Austerity has become hot topic since 2007/8 financial crisis. Economists and policymakers are still debating on this topic and there is no consensus among economists and policymakers. This paper studies different influences of fiscal adjustment on macroeconomy. Alternative explanations of austerity and non-austerity implications and influences are discussed in this paper by studying IMF research papers and other papers related to this topic. |
