| Kivonat: | It was trafficked into Europe through the Mediterranean Sea trade roads. The first evidences were found in Venice and Marseille. We consider that as the Southern café culture. As Amsterdam became a main hub of trade routes, the Northern café culture started getting more and more widespread. In these regions, coffee beans were very expensive, only the richest could afford it. The two types of coffee-drinking habits began to converge. |
