| 520 | 3 | |a This thesis is an assessment of the bilateral trade relation between China and the European Union between 2007 and 2017, it investigates specifically the potential and side effects of the implementation of the Free Trade Agreement between China and the EU. The paper departs through the explanation of the economic integration model, which acts as the fundamental basis for the integration of various economic entities, clarifying the importance of the model for the institution of the China–EU Free Trade Agreement. To understand and to signify the key factors in the implementation of the Free Trade Agreement, the thesis later provides a brief introduction to the previous economic progression of the two regions. It offers a detailed examination on the evolution and the major influences on the China and EU economy, along with the aspects and different approaches which have been implemented by both China and the EU. It also extent the research toward the bilateral trade relation between China and the EU, by studying the background and history of the trade, accompanied by the investigation on the trade in goods and investment. Ultimately, the thesis continue to analyze the Free Trade Agreement between China and the EU, in particular, it emphases on the criteria and the prospects of the formulation of the agreement, highlighting the possible side effects that may occur through the execution of the agreement as well as the examination on the readiness and the appropriation of the China-EU Free Trade Agreement implementation. | |
