| Kivonat: | According to the China Tourism Research Institute, in the year of 2018, the total number of inbound and outbound tourists was 291 million; the comprehensive contribution of tourism accounted for 11.04% of the total GDP. It is estimated that the trend will keep increasing in 2019. Undeniably, the tourism industry in China nowadays is developing rapidly. However, various problems such as tourism pollution and over tourism have also arisen. The development of tourism industry should follow the principle of sustainable development. With the development of economic integration in China, the economic connection between the regions is getting much more closer; resources sharing and complementary advantages have been achieved among different regions, which eventually helped overall economic development. In tourism area, the needs of regional collaboration and integration have also emerged. The aim of this paper is to investigate how to develop regional tourism cooperation in China, and whether regional tourism cooperation is conductive to tourism sustainable development. Driving system and cooperation principle of regional tourism will be mainly discussed and summarized. The research applies quality methodology based on interview. |
