| Kivonat: | This paper focuses on the Tunisian Revolution of 2011 showing the historical background, the contributing factors that led to the uprising, the transitional process and the outcome of the Uprising. It also looks into the Arab spring, comparing and contrasting the Tunisian case with Libya, Syria, Bahrain, Egypt and Yemen. The study attempts to explain the distinguishing characteristics that made the Tunisian case a success story in the democratization wave of the Arab coutries. |
