Abstract: | The aim of this paper is the comprehensive investigation of the lack of international presence in the life of the Hungarian baths due to COVID-19 and describing potential marketing tools to attract domestic visitors with the Zsigmondy card. In the dissertation an interview was conducted with Dóra Kiss head of department at BGYH (Budapest Gyógyfürdői és Hévizei Zrt.) and a survey was prepared. Both qualitative and quantitative methods helped me to gain an insight of the people's thoughts and an expert point of view. The dissertation is based on the re-marketing strategy of the Zsigmondy card because of the lack of international presence. The outbreak of the coronavirus has changed the tourism industry. Which means all the institutions and organizations had to adapt to the restrictions. I present the impact of the virus in the life of the baths. |
