Analysis of GDP reflects the realization of production potential. The analysis of this indicator has great practical interest and it is a prerequisite for making effective management decisions and successful development of the country. The main problem is that international evaluation of the Russian economy takes it as one unit. However, it does not fully represent the current state of the economy, there are very huge differences both between districts and federate entities. The aim of this work to reveal the main hubs (both is space and industry) that boosts the Russian economy. This work focuses on the following issues: Is there a relationship between the high share of extracting industry and high GDP? Is there a relationship between the level of Russia's GDP and other factors? Do the counties of Russia form clusters in terms of GRP. As a result, the work will reveal the hubs that boosts the Russian economy, districts with the most obvious uneven distribution of the GVA will be determined. Finally, a regression analysis will be applied for determining the factors which influence on Russian GDP, and the 85 counties of Russia will be divided into clusters with cluster analysis. | |
