Experimental studies should be carried out in order to provide support for greening hotel human resource practice models in the hospitality sector. The role of employees’ contribution to sustainability in hotels hasn’t been explored widely just yet, while the implementation of green practices can enhance organizational sustainability and also improve its competitiveness in the industry.  This research aims to examine the relationship between corporate social responsibility(CSR), organizational green human resource management strategy and employee eco-friendly behaviours at work. The study focuses on Hungary. A mixed methodology approach was used in the paper. The data was collected by questionnaire. To test the structural equation model, partial least square (PLS) method was applied. Quantitative methods such as frequency analysis, convergent validity analysis, discriminant validity analysis, reliability analysis and path analysis were carried out in this research. This evaluation was followed by qualitative research. This article explored the importance of corporate social responsibility and two core components of green human resource management: green training and performance on employees’ eco-friendly behaviour. It found that CSR is associated with green training, green performance management and OCBE. There is a significant relationship between green performance management and green behaviours. This paper denotes that hotels should invest in the improvement of environmental-friendly human resource policies and practices in long-term development. Future research can focus on the green HR and organizational culture, and resolving questions concerning how this brings a basis for good relationships between the employees and local communities and can it at last increases the improvement of the responsibility of people.
