In fact, there is no other industry where the consumption of these harmful substances is higher. However, the problem remains mostly untouched by those in power to change the situation. Psychoactive substance use often leads to abuse and addiction, especially when the circumstances are worsened by occupational stress, harsh working conditions, and the lack of managerial control. This thesis investigates the reasons behind workers alcohol and drug using habits in the industry and offers applicable solutions to improve the situation. | |
