Description
Abstract:This thesis examines the cooperation between China and Hungary under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and whether Chinese tourists have had an impact on the Hungarian tourism industry. Using questionnaire and interview method to gain insight into the reasons for Chinese tourists to come to Hungary, their travel characteristics and preferences, and through SWOT analysis, guidelines are given for future development. This thesis also proves that friendly relations between the two countries are the key to the development of tourism and BRI has played a significant role in promoting tourism in Hungary. Thanks to the BRI, more and more Chinese people know about Hungary and then come over with curiosity, driving the tourism industry in Hungary.
