| Abstract: | The main goal of the customs policy of each country is to increase the efficiency of foreign economic activity, stimulate national production and ensure the country's economic security.The use of various methods of customs regulation in foreign economic activity in the Republic of Azerbaijan, the impact of this regulatory mechanism on the development of domestic production, as well as the pros and cons of customs regulation policy and ways to achieve maximum efficiency are the main issues studied in the dissertation. The study revealed the features of the national economy’s customs regulation system; comparative analysis of the experience of different countries in the implementation of methods of customs regulation in ensuring the development of the national economy; customs regulation in modern Azerbaijan has been analyzed and evaluated through the prism of ensuring national economic development; the impact of customs regulation of foreign economic activity on the national economy of the country has been evaluated; analyzed the dynamics of the development of the export potential of the national economy the dynamics of the development of the export potential of the national economy was analyzed; the prospects for the development of foreign economic relations of Azerbaijan have been determined; scientifically based proposals and recommendations on strengthening the role of customs regulation in ensuring the competitiveness of the national economy were given; The ways of improving the mechanisms of customs regulation of foreign economic activity have been determined. |
