| 520 | 3 | |a I have both academic and personal reasons for choosing this topic. First of all, it is a puzzling and compelling phenomenon. Secondly, the relationship of tourism and terrorism is getting more complicated and more multifaceted which needs to have more explanations and solutions. Furthermore, I feel personal encouragement to help to tackle this global concern and to contribute - with my work via this thesis - to have a clearer picture which might lead us to a better understanding and turnout in the future. The aim of this study is to identify the impacts of terrorism on tourism and to investigate the consequences caused by terroristic attacks. Furthermore, to learn about this relatively new phenomenon and to examine how the industry can recover taking into consideration proper crisis management and crisis communication. The primary research method of this thesis is a survey. | |
