| Kivonat: | Easily accessible information, effortless crossing of borders, low-cost airline tickets, the rise of alternative accommodation and a social-media-fuelled influencer culture has created a crisis of overtourism and it became one of the biggest challenges in international tourism. Undoubtedly, in recent years, so many tourists have visited the more popular cities, monuments and resorts that have unfortunately made an economical footprint at those sights and made the visitors’ stay unenjoyable as well. The purpose of the thesis is to explore the possible solutions to overtourism towards a more sustainable tourism in the future. |
