520 3 |a The daily life for anyone following a special diet is not easy to begin with, but when it comes to travelling, it gets even harder. Individuals with this celiac disease and who follow a gluten free diet cannot travel the same way others do. It is a lot more complicated and requires more effort, time, consideration and also money. Celiacs are often restricted in many aspects of life, including travelling. The gluten free diet limits a large number of potential travellers from taking part in any regular travel or other tourism-related activities since it is evident that food plays a central role in tourism. Therefore, in this study I will be examining and presenting the different approaches celiacs and gluten intolerant people apply when travelling.
