520 3 |a Abstract  The study is to investigate how social media impacts customer purchasing behavior. Thus, this study used surveys and literature review such as assessing customer online purchasing behavior, which may be successful in the proposition related to the online world. The project also intends to investigate the impact of social media on increasing customer interest, which can lead to the creation of a successful e-commerce marketplace. This project's research approach is exploratory qualitative, which is divided into two parts. Initially, an online survey strategy was pursued, which included a detailed analysis of the literature review, which included journal articles “on the subject of social media and its impact on social media, official renders, analysis of books, social media periodicals about the buying behavior, case studies, and web pages and web portals”. Thus the study revealed positive results or positive links between social media and buying behavior of consumer over it. Therefore, it is important to investigate the consequences of the expansion of social media related to buying behaviors. All social media must be described more precisely for adequate communication tools to be disseminated.
