The study’s purpose is to determine whether the hotel’s concept is in line with current trends in the hospitality industry as well as future plans in Budapest, according to the industry analysis. According to the market analysis, the four-star hotels in the Fifth District outperform the average in Budapest. The main sending countries of Budapest were also analysed, and a rate-value matrix was created. The location analysis showed that the location next to Váci Street is optimal. A PESTEL analysis was also required to evaluate potential risks. The operational plan stated that 20 full-time employees are required. The business plan showed that it is worthwhile to invest in the project, even in a stress case when the rates are reduced by 15%. From the perspective of an investor, it is preferable to finance half of the investment with a bank loan. | |
