Kivonat:In today's highly competitive tourism industry, it's critical for destinations to employ a variety of marketing and promotional tactics to raise awareness and promote a positive image of their destination. As a result, state marketing organizations make use of various of marketing and promotional strategies in order to set the destination apart from others and attract a large number of tourists. International large scale events have become one of the most important techniques of positioning and promotion of tourism destinations in recent years. The promotion of tourism brands, products, and services on these platforms opens up a world of possibilities in terms of increased popularity and recognition. As a result, participation experience is critical in the process of a country's tourism image construction. The main purpose of this master thesis is identification of major effects (benefits) of the huge international events such as tourism exhibitions abroad as well hosting Formula 1 event on tourism image of Azerbaijan from marketing perspective, through the participation experience of the country.
