Though, little up-to-date research on its influence on Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam (CLMV) has been done. As China’s neighbors, CLMV nations are bound to receive the influence from China’s rapid growth. This study aims to describe the impacts of the rise of China on its trade, foreign direct investments, and development aids relations with CLMV countries. Mixed research method is employed to fulfill the purpose of the research. The results of the study reveal that the rise of China has resulted in an increase in trade, FDI, and development assistances between China and CLMV.
