| 520 | 3 | |a The purpose of the research was to assess whether Globalization and technological advancement directly relate to the rapid growth and expansion of businesses/services in the emerging economies in the case of Pakistan. The research was guided by four research questions, and it aims to explore the reasons behind the slower economic growth of Pakistan and lower foreign direct investment compared to neighboring countries especially Bangladesh. To achieve the research goal, a mixed research approach is used. Data was collected using both primary and secondary methods. For primary data collection, interviews were conducted, and due to the nature of the research participants were chosen with diverse educational backgrounds and working in different sectors of Pakistan but their role in the organization was equivalent to managerial, and participants should be managing people departments meant so that they have sufficient hands-on experience and knowledge to understand and answer the interview questions. Answers from the interviews were interpreted and conclusions are drawn. The findings of the research revealed that advancements in technology and globalization have provided operations efficiencies and business expansion by creating new market opportunities for emerging markets economies in the case of Pakistan. | |
