Air travel has enormous environmental impacts on passenger numbers and cannot be sustainable in the long term, even if they are currently working on new-generation airplanes. These impacts could be lowered if people chose rail transportation instead of air. The study seeks to determine whether taking a night train to summer vacation destinations in Europe is a viable option, reviews the willingness of people to switch from air and road travel to railroads, and looks into the future to get a forecast about this field. It has many advantages, which will be explained in this research, and encourages people to explore this alternative travel mode. | |
