Kivonat:Introduction: The Hospitality industry has always been one of the most competitive sectors in the world, therefore, understanding travellers’ behaviour is undoubtedly a vital tool for hoteliers to maximize revenue and profit. Furthermore, after the Covid-19 pandemic, the need to attract tourists has become a matter of survival for lodging businesses. This research is designed to help illustrate the target market’s favourable product components. Research questions: The primary goal of the research paper is to investigate the buying behaviours of young travellers in Vietnam in the contemporary context, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, this study aims to answer three research questions: (1) What is the biggest concern of young Vietnamese people when choosing accommodation for travelling (2) What are the levels of importance of the studied hotel attributes (3) How does price affect travellers’ buying decisions compared to other criteria Research methodology: A conjoint analysis was conducted with 31 participants who are 35 years old and under living in Vietnam. The survey contains 25 different accommodation profile cards which are ranked in order of the most preferred to the least by respondents via Google forms. Result: The result shows that the younger travellers in Vietnam still prefer low price accommodation with a free cancellation condition. Amongst the special features, the new tourism trends like green business or contactless services are not of great concerns of the target market.
