Its main goal is to promote economic growth and developmentin participating countries and boost China's trade with them. The initiativeincludes policy dialogue, trade facilitation, financial support, andpeople-to-people exchange. Central Asia is a crucial region in the BRI'simplementation, as it connects China to the West through land routes andprovides a great market for Chinese goods. Kazakhstan, with its politicalstability and rich natural resources, plays a key role in the initiative. Thethesis aims to examine the Chinese presence and its growing influence throughthe BRI in Kazakhstan.
