Kivonat:This thesis dives into the world of product placement in video games. Through the study, I attempt to uncover how brands are integrated into gaming and different kinds of experiences, exploring common methods, ethical considerations, and the rising influence of video game streaming. A survey conducted with 114 participants and an interview with a marketing professional help to understand the effectiveness of placements and ethical viewpoints and also add practical perspectives. In the summary, I attempt to offer recommendations for marketers, emphasizing innovation and adapting to changing consumer tastes, while being mindful of limitations.
