| 520 | 3 | |a In my thesis I am investigating the topic of the motivation for trips to Japan. In my opinion the theme seems to be relevant because recently there has been a huge demand for travel to East Asia, especially to Japan. My personal motivation is my interest in Japan and Japanese culture, which facilitates the research process.The aim of my thesis is to gather information of the motivations to travel to Japan, which could help the travel agencies and the tour operators in the future. An opportunity to gain insight into people’s views on the country and the products that are the most important to them when travelling to Japan. In addition, we can also find out how important it is for them to gain insight into or participate in cultural programmes in other countries. We can also find out more about programmes, that could be used to expand the seasonal travel opportunities.For this thesis I am going to use both primer and seconder method. With the help of primary research, I use questionnaire as a quantitative method. The questionnaires are anonymous, and I am planning to collect a minimum of 100 answer for these questionnaires. As for the seconder method I use netnography and content analysis. With the help of the netnography I collect information about Japan’s economy and tourism and about some Hungarian travel agency companies. I am trying to find similarities and differences between their products about Japanese tours. The Hungarian travel agency companies which I collect information about are the followings: Japanspecialist, OTP Travel, 1000 Út, Haris Travel Club. Before the comparison I am collecting all the available information about the travel agent companies to have a clear view about their products, which will make it easier to be able to find resemblances and dissimilarities. The translation for the travel agency products will be done by myself, Viktória Sipos.I divided my thesis into 5 main parts. In the first part I write about the introduction, which includes the techniques I plan to use and my 4 main research questions.In the second main part, I collected information on Japan's tourism from 2007 to 2023. The first sub part is mainly about the impact on GDP of the number of outbound tourists to Japan. The second sub part is the increase in the number of visitors to Japan.Under the third subheading are four more subheadings in which I have collected information on Japan's economy across all sectors.In the next section, I wrote about the impact of inflation in Japan, using the statistician's site as a source, as it seemed to me the most professional.In the fourth main topic, I highlighted the Hungarian travel agencies and tried to pick out their various tours, which are products for trips to Japan.In the fifth main section, I compared the information gathered in the previous section to discover similarities and differences between the tours.In the following section, I analysed the anonymous questionnaire I had compiled, which was completed by 58 people.At the very end of my thesis, I concluded with a short summary of my work, including my suggestions. | |
