Abstract:In my dissertation, I explore the significant influence that celebrity and influencer marketing have over the changing landscape of online shopping behaviours. The careful selection of this subject comes from its high significance in the modern digital age, which is defined by a growing number of electronic devices that allow users to access social media with simplicity. Social media platforms are becoming increasingly popular in this digital age, and this has led to a noticeable increase in influencers and celebrities who use these platforms for various objectives.Furthermore, the fact that I am personally involved with this subject adds to its importance. As an active user of social media, I actively follow celebrities and influencers, and their endorsements frequently have an impact on my purchase selections. This combination of social relevance and personal interest acts as a starting point for exploring the complex dynamics of influencer and celebrity marketing in the context of online consumer behaviour.
