| Abstract: | The topic to be researched is Volunteering as a form of tourism which has many benefits on the communities, environment, could change the word for the better and has a bigger impact on the traveler and the local people’s life as well, but it has a dark side as well which revolves around seeking profit and exploiting people’s good intentions.Voluntourism, also known as volunteering as a kind of tourism, is a concept that has emerged in recent years. It combines the love of travelling, compassion and goes beyond conventional tourism paradigms. This new trend captures the mixture of meaningful contributions to communities and ecosystems with vacation experiences. The thesis investigates the complex aspects, effects, and difficulties associated with volunteering and tourism. |
