| 520 | 3 | |a Supply chain management and the role of suppliers in the system have become a vital part of company success and an essence of meeting customer needs nowadays. Most successful businesses irrespective of size and complexity have implemented a system, which integrates their processes from suppliers to end-users enabling them to add value to their products and services. The main focus of my work is on the relationships and cooperation between Henkel Hungary's corporate suppliers and trading partners, as the company's procurement strategy and operations are closely intertwined with the various suppliers and trading partners who play a key role in the company's successful operation and development.This thesis focuses on the theoretical underpinnings of supply chain management, with an emphasis on the critical role of suppliers in business success. It emphasises the shift towards customer-centric supply chains and, through a case study of the supply chain transformation of Henkel Ltd., identifies the elements that influence partnerships, highlighting the ability of businesses to overcome barriers in the future. | |
