This paper provides an overview of the current state of gender inequality in the hotel industry worldwide highlighting Hungary, including its causes, consequences, and potential solutions.Drawing on a range of academic sources, the paper examines the factors that contribute to gender inequality in the hotel industry, including unconscious bias, discrimination, and a lack of female representation in leadership positions.The paper also discusses some of the strategies that are being used to address gender inequality in the hotel industry, including diversity and inclusion initiatives, mentorship programs, and advocacy efforts. While progress has been made in recent years, the paper argues that more needs to be done to create a truly equitable and inclusive workplace for women in the hotel industry.Overall, this paper contributes to the growing body of research on gender inequality in the hospitality industry and highlights the need for ongoing efforts to promote gender diversity and inclusion in this important sector. | |
