520 | 3 | |a China's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) has soared, making it one of the world's largest economies and a global economic powerhouse.China's economic transformation began with Deng Xiaoping's economic reforms in the late 20th century. These reforms opened up the country to foreign investments, encouraged private entrepreneurship, and shifted towards a market-oriented economy. As a result, China experienced exponential GDP growth, with annual growth rates often exceeding 10% in the 1980s and 1990s.The dynamic evolution of the urban-rural income gap has complex historical and practical reasons. In order to further study the issue of China's urban-rural income gap, this study intends to explore the dynamic evolution of China's urban-rural income gap based on national data from 2013 to 2019 with the secondary data collected and published on the National Bureau of Statistics of China. This study tries to evaluate the urban-rural income gap and analyze the key driving factors of China’s urban-rural income gap, and then provide support to reduce the urban-rural income gap from the perspectives of the key impacting factors. This research also aims for the rural revitalization goals and try to provide an optimized path based on the urban-rural income distribution pattern of provincial-level spatial units.In conclusion, this study discusses the following questions:How toquantify China's urban-rural income gap using actual data?What are the driving factors behind China's urban-rural income gap?What policy suggestionscould effectively narrow down China's urban-rural income gap? | |
