Despite increased representation, detrimental stereotypes persist, constraining roles and perpetuating misconceptions. Through film analysis spanning 2000 to 2024, this research explores historical roots, prevalence, and contributing factors of stereotypes. It underscores the societal significance of cinematic representation, advocating for authentic portrayal and combating harmful stereotypes. The study reveals both perpetuation and progress in cinematic portrayals, emphasizing the importance of intersectional analysis and empowering authentic representation within the film industry.
