Kivonat:This thesis, under the guidance of Professor Bence Péter Marosán, investigates the complex relationship between environmental and social dynamics in the fast fashion industry's supply chain. Titled "Breaking the Thread: Unraveling the Environmental and Social Dynamics of Sustainable Practices in Fast Fashion", the research explores the global perspective on fast fashion sustainability, looks into sustainable materials sourcing, scrutinizes sustainable practices in high-end fashion retail chains, examines strategies for reducing the environmental footprint in fast fashion production, investigates work conditions and workers’ rights, and unveils the truth behind sustainability claims (greenwashing phenomenon).
