Abstract:Abstract The COVID-19 pandemic, which emerged towards the end of 2019, has profoundly affected numerous industries globally and continuously reshaped the emerging economic landscape. This thesis uses Wizz Air as the carrier to focus on the crises faced by the aviation industry in 2020 and 2021 and the corresponding response methods. As part of the research, a quantitative analysis is applied to specifically analyze the economic data of Wizz Air annual report in 2020 and 2021, and explore the aspects most affected by the epidemic. At the same time, supplemented by qualitative analysis about the main risk types faced by Wizz Air and the prominent strategies adopted are summarized. Finally, the two are combined to improve old response strategies and provide suggestions for future risk prevention and minimization.
