Kivonat:This study examines the role of foreign direct investment (FDI) in enhancing Vietnam’s logistics sector. As Vietnam's economy continues to expand quickly and integrate into international trade, the need for effective and modern logistics infrastructure has grown dramatically. The study analyzes how FDI has enhanced logistics capabilities through infrastructure, driving technological advancements, and improving regulatory frameworks. Based on reports and statistical data that the author collected, the research highlights key areas of logistics where FDI has impacted, such as infrastructure, technology, workforce quality, supply chain performance, sustainability and green development, and investment environment. Furthermore, the research used the AHP model and interviewed 17 experts. The results express that FDI has the most significant impact on infrastructure, followed by technology and innovation integration, investment policies and environment, improvement of workforce quality, supply chain performance, sustainability and green development in logistics. However, challenges such as outdated and synchronized infrastructure, lack of high-skilled labor for the industry, and high logistics costs remain. The study concludes by suggesting several policies and strategies to attract FDI and leverage it for the sustainable growth of the logistics industry in Vietnam.
