Against a global backdrop of escalating environmental and food security challenges, sustainable agriculture has emerged as a strategic priority within national development policies. The research is grounded in an extensive literature review, analysis of Vietnamese state policies promoting agriculture, and comparison with the EU to derive actionable lessons. Furthermore, the study incorporates findings from practical surveys conducted with key actors, including government bodies, enterprises, farmer cooperatives, and non-governmental organizations. Through the application of SWOT analysis and case studies examining pioneering regions employing high technology in green agriculture, this work clarifies practical models of sustainable agriculture and assesses the effectiveness of stakeholder coordination. Research findings reveal that while Vietnam benefits from favorable natural conditions and increasing policy attention towards sustainable development, significant challenges persist. These include fragmented production systems, weak coordination mechanisms among stakeholders, and limited adoption rates of sustainable practices. However, Vietnam possesses significant opportunities to capitalize on growing global demand for traceable, environmentally friendly products and to enhance its participation in international green value chains.Concluding the research process, the thesis proposes specific state support policies and measures designed to strengthen linkages among stakeholders. These aim to overcome existing limitations and leverage Vietnam's strengths in its long-term pursuit of sustainable agricultural development. The results and recommendations presented contribute not only to the theoretical understanding and to practical advancement of sustainable agriculture in Vietnam but also offer valuable reference material for other Southeast Asian nations facing similar agro-economic circumstances. Keywords: Sustainable agriculture, supply chain, Vietnam, European Union, stakeholders, policy, SWOT analysis, Cooperation
