| 520 | 3 | |a This paper examines relations between Mongolia, China and Russia on the aspect of "Mongolia as a sandwich country between two big neighbors-China and Russia". To illustrate Mongolia's dependency on the neighbors, historical background and current situation of bilateral relations in some important sectors such as trade, mining, investment, transportation, animal husbandry and defense between Mongolia-China and Mongolia-Russia have been investigated separately in the first two chapters. Main purpose of the paper was to understand which strategy would be beneficial to Mongolia in the relations with its eternal two neighbors-two world superpowers. From this point of view, in the third chapter of the paper, trilateral cooperation between Mongolia, China and Russia, which is a new concept beginning only from the 2014, has been analyzed. Highlights of the trilateral cooperation would be the infrastructure projects including establishment of an economic corridor through railway, highway and airways and free trade zones agreed by the three parties during the trilateral summits between 2014-2016. To reach its purpose relevant primary and secondary sources about the bilateral relations and trilateral relations have been collected and analyzed. | |
