Cultural and tourist routes of Balaton region with suggestions to end tourism stagnation

| Kivonat: | The presented dissertation deals with the problem of touristic stagnation of Balaton region. It is well-know that this state is not helping to increase tourism demand, especially after the capital city and its surrounding areas realizing most of the international visits, leaving other regions with high tourism potential in an unfavorable position. The economy here is based on tourism, so for better economy, development is essential. The author’s main motive was to list all the unique characteristics and using them to create a touristic product and to reflect on the problems trying to help the situation. Highlighting the cultural and natural heritages several routes were created to move things forward. Using the right product, right- targeted audience and an effective marketing strategy it is possible to generate further demand and put tourism back into the right path in the region. |
