| Kivonat: | The main purpose of this thesis will be to examine and compare the different factors and effects between the mortgage crisis of 08 and crisis triggered by covid19. I will be discussing different aspects of both crisises. Each of the crisises has affected the financial market and the economy differently and made integral changes that will be discussed throughout my thesis. As a finance and accounting student I was exposed to financial literature throughout my studies which made me want to explore more how crisises affect our economies, financial markets, companies, and the financial industry. I have decided to choose the crises of 2008 because the main triggers was the CDOs and the credit default swaps which were complex financial products yet at the time they were used destructively. Furthermore, Camparing 08 crisis with crisis triggered by covid19 has raised some concerns for the future in my thoughts so I decided I wanted to dive deeper in coparing both crisises. |
