Description
Abstract:The aim of this paper is to examine and analyse the operation of a company  which operates in the market both as glass wholesale distributor and as a  glass manufacturer. In addition, this study provide an overview about an area in transport where there is less information and  research on the subject is available. The research primary focusing on the transportation processes and solutions, and performance measurements. The thesis starts with an introduction to the company and a clarification of the basic concepts, followed by a more detailed insight into transport processes and the analysis of the data. The data was collected from my personal experience and through an interview with the logistics manager of the company. The impact of the Covid epidemic on the construction industry,  the consequences of fuel change and the current difficulties in the glass industry are also addressed. By the end of the paper, I evaluate the company's transportation performance and I also present an idea to a packaging tracability problem.
