Kivonat: | In the following thesis, I intend to investigate the underlying factors in young graduates’ willingness to become entrepreneurs in Budapest after having graduated from Budapest Business University. The main research questions to be covered concern the factors by which young graduates’ willingness is influenced to become entrepreneurs, the objective barriers they are stopped by and the role that entrepreneurial education plays in their lives in pursuing the self-employed career path. My research topic is concerned with the study system’s readiness to prepare undergraduates to become entrepreneurs. In this concept I will look at the definitions which are connected to entrepreneurship and business education at universities, furthermore I intend to explain the career choices undergraduates are presented by describing the utility maximizing career choice model. Moreover, I will mention studies that dive into the dimensions of the educations systems’ readiness for entrepreneurial preparation and the influence of education programs on students. Also, I would like to provide a general overview of the entrepreneurial restraints students face and the situation of women in this matter, not to talk about the introduction of business incubators and the competitive advantage they have the potential to provide for univerities. |
