The findings highlight that although customer portals aim to streamline operations, they often introduce inefficiencies due to technical malfunctions, poor integration, and procedural mismatches. Primary data analysis reveals a disproportionate number of logistical disruptions — such as delayed deliveries and increased express shipments — among customers using these portals. The research concludes with strategic recommendations for suppliers and customers to enhance portal effectiveness through better preparedness, collaboration, and balanced digital adoption. Ultimately, the thesis emphasizes the importance of treating procurement platforms as strategic supply chain tools rather than passive compliance mechanisms. | |
